Masters & Open
NASLSC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS - Sunday 15th April
On Sunday 15th April at 10am report, we will be holding the 2012 Club Championships of North Avoca SLSC. Steve Tatham and Paul Johnston have agreed to be the official organisers for this most prestigious event to close off our wonderful competition season.
Age groups will be: U16, U19, Open, Masters and Grand Masters all held in both Men and Women. You are able to compete in only one category for example either Open or U19, or Open or Masters etc. And of course men or women.
There will be 8 events: Swim, Tube, Board, Ski (you may include goat boats), Ironperson, Sprint, Flags & Marathon.
Points will be allocated as 10 pts = 1st down to 1pt = 10th and then 1pt for completion of course if more than 10 competitors in an event. Your lowest scoring event will be eliminated from your point score.
Appeals will be heard on the day, given in writing along with a $100 fee in a brown paper bag. Appeals will be heard by Steve Tatham and Paul Johnston and no correspondence will be considered after the protest is dismissed.
Come along and have some fun on the last Sunday of the season, try to get your craft onto the beach before 10am report.

IMPORTANT COMPETITION REMINDER: Competitors need to complete 25 patrol hours in the 2011 calendar year. If you have just completed your bronze and not had the opportunity to complete the hours excemptions can be made. So please arrange to do some extra hours this weekend if you might be short.

COMPETITIVE REQUIREMENTS:
The club requires TWO WEEKS NOTICE of your intent to compete, this enables time to finalise carnival fees and entry forms.
THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ENTER A CARNIVAL:
- Ring the Director of Surf Sports - Tony Curran at least two weeks prior to the carnival.
- Check the noticeboard reguarly for a competition sheet and to add your details for entry.
